Auduino - tinkerit - Google Code - Details of the Auduino synthesiser
The Auduino is a sound synthesiser based on the Arduino platform. The prototype uses the Arduino Diecimila, although any modern Arduino with an ATmega168 chip will work fine. It uses granular synthesis techniques to generate a distinctive filter-sweep sound that had much more character than boring square waves.November 13 2008

I modified another old Processing program of mine to graphically react to sound using the Minim library. The program outputs the sound level to an Arduino connected to a breadboard, creating a sound level meter using LEDs.
