Serendipity wandering online. Wherein snippets from the World Wide Web are thrown in that deal with memetic nonsense, programmatic geekery, political and philosophical thoughts, all of the above, and beyond.

tomtaylor.co.uk : projects : microprinter
The microprinter is an experiment in physical activity streams and notification, using a repurposed receipt printer connected to the web. I use it for things like reminders, notifications, and my day at-a-glance, but anything that can be injected from the web and suits text only, short format messaging, will work.

Lambda Calculus in a Can
Project LambdaCan is an amusing exercise in absurdity. It implements a reducer (interpreter) for the Lambda Calculus, a formal system (programming language) developed by Alonzo Church in the 1930's to attack the deepest mathematical problem of the day. This was the Entscheidungsproblem, the question of whether or not there exists an algorithm capable of deciding the truth or falsehood of all statements in mathematics. LambdaCan is essentially an Arduino Diecimila board mounted in a cough drop can using epoxy putty.January 15 2009

mignon game kit 2.0
The “Mignon Game Kit” is a kitset which enables a minimalist “Gameboy” to be individually designed, programmed and constructed. The Workshop enable advanced learners to invent and programme their own games. In this way the do-it-yourself console of the “Mignon Game Kit” provides not only the opportunity for basic experiments with micro-electronics for first time users but can also be used as a platform for individual computer games. As opposed to conventional Gameboys the user develops a personal relationship to his device through the processes of self-production and individually determined programming.December 05 2008
SparkFun Electronics
In this tutorial we will discuss a small relay board to control the power to a normal AC outlet using 5VDC control. How to Make a Little Switch and Potentiometer Box for Your Arduino
Having cobbled together loads of Arduino circuits and always found myself poking switches and potentiometers through cardboard I thought it was time to produce something a little prettier. So here is how to make a lovely little box to hold 5 potentiometers and 3 switches. (along with some software to make it work)December 03 2008

Auduino - tinkerit - Google Code - Details of the Auduino synthesiser
The Auduino is a sound synthesiser based on the Arduino platform. The prototype uses the Arduino Diecimila, although any modern Arduino with an ATmega168 chip will work fine. It uses granular synthesis techniques to generate a distinctive filter-sweep sound that had much more character than boring square waves.
